Youth Fellowship

The ArkJarrettown Junior and Senior Youth Fellowship meets on Sunday evening. The Senior High group meets from from 6:00-7:30 and 7th-8th graders meet from 7:00-8:30. The evening begins by taking full advantage of the Ark and the air hockey, pool table, a large multi-purpose room, a surround sound music system, a large screen TV, and full court basketball located outside. After some wacky games like Bombardment, Bite the Onion, and any ultimate game known to the leaders, the group participates in worship and considers how the theme for the evening relates to the Bible. Some exciting topics in the past have been...Grave Concerns, Cult Repellent, Just Another Day of the Week, and The End is Near.

The ArkIn addition to the excitement the youth have on Sunday evenings the youth go Ultimate Bumper Bowling, to the Electric Factory to see concerts, have parties on any holiday or special occasion, get together with other youth groups, do scavenger hunts, play Capture the Flag, go to Hershey and Dorney Parks, and since it is now summer cookouts and pool parties are the number one thing to do. The activity that the youth do most often and that they enjoy the most are the Lock-in at the Ark.

The youth are also involved in the life of the church through their praise band named Just Like Timm, outreach programs, spaghetti dinners, pancake breakfasts and car washes. Youth Fellowship is open to all youth in grades 6th through 12th.

If you have suggestions or questions about activities please call one of the pastors.

Junior and Senior High Sunday School

The two youth Sunday School classes meet at 11:00 am in the Ark. The junior high consists of 7th-8th graders, while the Senior High is all 9th-12th graders. The Sunday School is a place for the youth to develop their faith as they struggle with the questions in their lives. Through study of the Bible, group discussion, and an application of the material to their own lives, the youth explore what it means to be a Christian.

Youth Praise Band

Just Like Timm band The Youth Praise Band plays every Sunday night from 7-7:30 during Sunday night youth group. The mission of the band is to set an example of how to worship the Living God to youth and adults everywhere. All youth are invited to join regardless of talent or experience.
